Hello,

I would like to know if the recent Android port of Music Studio 2.0 supports MIDI/USB keyboards. For example, I have a Keith McMillen K-Board USB MIDI Mini Keyboard Controller that I use all the time with Music Studio 2.6 on the iPad via the Apple Camera Connection Kit. Would the Android port support the use of the K-Board (or any other USB MIDI keyboard controller, for that matter) with Music Studio 2.0 for Android via the use of a USB OTG cable?

Thanks!

From the feature comparison chart here.

It would appear not.

But you could always try for yourself on the free version.

I do not know about Android, but the following device is just really good at allowing different MIDI controller to connect to an Apple device : http://mipuc.com/

I have the older model that only allows for a DIN MIDI device but the new PUC+ allows for USB MIDI in and out.

You can even plug a MIDI hub (such as the M-Audio MIDISPORT 2x2 or 4x4, and have several controllers at the same time ... :D

Music Studio 2.6.3 on iOS supports all iOS ("CoreMIDI") compatible hardware.
Music Studio 2.0 on Android supports none. This will change with version 3.0 later this year.

Is it possible to connect my Yamaha H11DB to Music Studio?

I don't think so. It doesn't seem to have any midi connections. Though you could export a midi file onto a USB stick.

Has anyone tried this? Does music studio support this natively?

Yes, I use the KeyStation Mini 32 with Music Studio regularly.
In general, Music Studio supports all CoreMIDI compatible hardware, there are no drivers or "native" support as on other platforms, it's just CoreMIDI routing, provided by iOS to all apps.

First time post so please excuse me if I have overlooked this previously discussed. I just picked up an iRig keys Pro keyboard. I also just upgraded to full version of Music Studio on a Nexus 6p/ Android 7.0. Music Studio works great on this device. Is there any chance that Music Studio will work with supported keyboards on Android one day?
