Recording Audio

Postby Knowleginmusic05 » Sat Oct 14, 2017 12:33 am

I use the Music Studio app it has been a lifesaver for me as a rap artist on a budget I have made some decent moves as a hip hop artist surprising some people might not understand how you can do this but I record audio while the beat is playing normally I have to line it up after with the beat I use the internal mic on a iPod 5th gen touch to do all this tour app has opened doors many on a budget don’t know about I have music I recorded through this app and the iPod touch on iTunes Spotify almost everywhere here is a peak at what it sounds like after it is done

https://soundcloud.com/followknowlegin/dirty-money that’s my latest work now my question is how can I record audio without monitoring it through headphones and have them line with the beat basically how can I recorded my vocals while playing the beat and have it line up with the beat there is always a off beat is there a way to fix this please

Thanks for your positive feedback :D

how can I recorded my vocals while playing the beat and have it line up with the beat

If there's an offset, you can move the recorded audio region so that the vocal recording matches the beat. Moving works best in the bar editor with the snap tool disabled:

If the beat is audible earlier than the vocal recording, you may need to cut the beginning of the audio file in the wave editor (http://www.xewton.com/musicstudio/doc/? ... ave_editor) until it's perfectly synced.
