DAW Functionality
Hey all,
I have gotten so used to the ease of functionality of what Xewton put together, that I am having a difficult time transitioning to a desktop daw.
I'm not a computer programmer, so a lot of DAWs don't make sense to me.
Having to route outputs and VST/AU Plugins from things like Kontakt is seriously over my head.
I have tried, garageband meh. Au units don't work with Kontakt. I have tried reaper and ableton and both of those are confusing.
I wish Xewton made a desktop daw...
Anyway, what is everyone else using? There is so much out there. I need the most Xewtonish one that I can find.
(Digital Performer, Sonar, Cubase, Reaper, Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton, Samplitude)

Re: DAW Functionality
Hey Eltricmusic!
I used to use music studio for every one of my projects, and I faced the same problem you did awhile back. One of the easiest DAWs to start off with in my opinion is Mixcraft 7, which is basically a windows version of GarageBand. It's very simple to route Kontakt into it as well. Good luck
