Mixing

I know the second half of 2017 will see some mixing capabilites added to Music Studio, but may I ask what apps people use now to mix their projects? I'm using IOS on a iPhone 5s.

Well you can mix in Music Studio Already, but it's not perfect.

You could export each track to something like Aum and mix there if you wanted.

The volume and pan faders and the FX button in the track editor are the mixing tools currently available in Music Studio:

For version 3.0 or 3.1 we plan a dedicated mixer screen that mimics a mixing console.

I know, and I'm looking forward to it! :-)

What I'm missing right now is the ability to monitor levels throughout the track and adjust them via recordable faders, rather than 'hard coding' the volumes via the Midi levels.

I'll check out Bianca's suggestion of Aum!

That's the "volume automation" feature which won't make it into 3.0, but probably in 3.1 or 3.2.
