Known issues in Music Studio 2.5.1 which will be fixed in the next update to version 2.5.2:
  • Audio tracks don't play during audio recording
Existing audio tracks remain silent during audio recording. MIDI track playback works.
Workaround: Move existing audio regions (or the whole song) to the right, so that audio regions are not placed at the beginning of the song. Here's how:
    - Switch to the bar editor http://www.xewton.com/musicstudio/doc/?id=7#Track_view_switch
    - Select an existing (or all) audio region
    - Tap the move button http://www.xewton.com/musicstudio/doc/?id=7#Move_button
    - Move it to the right, then tap Done.
    - Add an audio track and start recording.
  • Audiobus panel is not visible on iPhone 6
It’s an iPhone 6 specific bug that stems from the new resolutions. The Audiobus developers are looking into it.
  • User instrument defaults are not saved
Expected: The "Save parameters" button http://www.xewton.com/musicstudio/doc/?id=6#User_section should save the attack, release and offset fader positions as defaults for the user instrument.
Bug: When selecting the user instrument, attack, release and offset are reset to the minimum values.
  • Inserting Music Studio as input and output into Audiobus leads to noisy output
This is an Audiobus bug that will be fixed in the next SDK (i.e. Music Studio update).
