Roland UM1 Support?
Does anyone know if Music Studio supports the Roland UM1? It looks like the cheapest and simplest midi interface out there. Cheap & simple are good.

My guess is that since you have to download separate drivers for different versions of windows and the mac is that it's most unlikely to.

Googling for "UM1 CoreMIDI" yields

"...the UM-1G, now sold as Cakewalk by Roland. Just like its predecessors, there’s a little “advanced mode” switch that you can toggle to “OFF” for driver-free operation with the iPad."

"I have successfully used an Edirol UM-1"
So it looks like it's CoreMIDI compatible and will work connected to the iPad's Camera Connection Kit.
