This competition is all about 3/4 signature, which is the typical waltz signature but I find that it should be used more often in other styles. Entries can be of any musical style, as long as they are in 3/4 signature. Deadline is end of March.

I give you "August". I'll try to get the .xms file up but it may be a while.
This song was done back in August for the month August and is probably one of my favorite ones I've ever done in Music Studio.

Re: 3/4 Competition
@SubZero: Yes, a song in 3/4 that's not a Waltz, that's what I was looking for
@MusicB: Sorry but that's not a valid submission, the song is not in 3/4 signature.

Re: 3/4 Competition
hello everyone.
Already know that in Spain there is a style called "flamenco". actually the "flamenco" is a collection of styles identified by a rhythm (compas), a cadence and a letter from popular type or sad or happy manners.
These include the seguidillas, bulerías, tarantos, fandango, saetas and even sevillanas, etc...
Almost all use 4/3:
It's a fun tempo and allows very interesting possibilities: tac, tac, tac .... tac, tac, tac ....
Well, I have to do some flamenco, but called fusion, as it mixes styles, in this case orchestral.
I'll work on it
See you soon
Paco
