A song that makes me think of the sand. With drawbar organ, ukulele, steel drums, and a reso bass layered with the organ with a bassline added, and a "Goa Trance Lead".

Perfect for this, it sounds like you could hear it at the beach, complete with synth-layered organ (Moog style reso bass).

Hi, I join it too.

I searched a Maldivian photograph first, because I didn't know it.
Then I watched a white sandy beach, the blue sky, and blue sea.
So I made imaging it that those scene changes on the music.
Let's play this, and dance under the refreshing weather while attaching a footprint to the sandy beach.

=Song's detail====================================================
title…Footprints
genre…Compose Shift
song's length…3:16
BPM…128

~Concept~
00:00-0:44 (Dance on the sand)
I made it with bright melody mainly on the guitar and ukuleles.

00:45-01:13 (Watching the sky)
And I added strings in the middle stage and had a refreshing mini-orchestra flavor.

01:14-01:58 (Ready to dive)
The interlude acquired an accent by the sound that was electrical.

01:59-02:59 (In the ocean)
I made it with an image to dive from the sandy beach to the sea by the rust.

03:00-03:16 (Ready to back home)
I'm tired! XD

When I made a drum and a percussion, I considerably did my best.
===============================================================
I was excited at this competition very much, and was able to enjoy it.
Thank you.

....Maldives.
If I get a chance, I want to travel there.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I remade it on Aug 20.
+ Power up drums.
+ Add some melodys and Instruments.
Hans here, going to post something representing two young lovers running up and down the beach along with the tide. The entry is almost ready... The composition is in 11/8 time. You might be asking yourself how I did this. I chose 5/4 time, except by adding one eighth note additional to the prior measure, per measure. It contains steel drums, marimbas, the World Kit of course, and ukulele. Probably a few more too. Might be ready just in time for the cutoff! :lol:
Alex I know its not allowed to use external audio samples in the competition. But I want to use not the music audio samples but the sound of nature such as the voice of seagulls. Can I use in the song such audio as the voice of seagulls?
Sure! It is allowed to use external samples, but the song must also contain some of Music Studio's instruments or kits.
Very interesting task as in 3-4 competition.
My story:
Well when I first took a look at the pic I imagined a sand from a different planet and the trace was discovered there. Or it could be a trace of someone lost in the desert.. So I planned to make smth mysterious with elements of sadness.
But all of a sudden I took a different look after, smth positive.. the breath of happiness and summer, sea, sunsets, smiles, trips and ofcoz music so all of these feelings were accidentally reflected in this track I post here.
In this song I say "Trace in the sand This summer has no end". "No End" because Alex foot in the pic (if its Alex) seems to me so long haha)
Enjoy the rest of the summer and make more music anyone!
P.S. 1. Sorry for the voice audio quality because I was not using professional mic but just talking to the tablet
2. I use here one audio track of seagulls which is not MS sound but I asked the permission from Alex
3. All the other sounds are made by only MS instruments kits and audio.
Posting soundcloud now, XMS will be a bit later (got some problems with zipping)
thanx!
Updated:
XMS file is here but it doesn't sound the same as in SoundCloud because not all the audios were exported as ZIP. The size of audios was too big. So pls take a listen to SoundCloud version as well, I think it is better there with all effects and audios I wanted to use.
Hi Alex, I have one request.
I got a time to remake "Footprints", and completed it.
So may I apply with remade music?
