Control of other Audio apps.

I have been reading the garage band documentation and found this

Some Instrument apps provide support for controlling GarageBand. If the Instrument app supports such controls, you can play your GarageBand song, and record to it, from within the Instrument app.

For Instrument apps that do not provide support for controlling GarageBand, you start recording in GarageBand, then switch to the Instrument app to play your performance.

Before you start recording, you may want to set the song section length to Automatic, so the recording is not cut off before you finish the performance.

In GarageBand, tap the Record button to start recording.

Double-tap the Home button.

Tap the Instrument app to open it.

In the Instrument app, play your performance.

When you finish playing, double-tap the Home button again.

Tap GarageBand to open it.

In GarageBand, tap the Stop button to stop recording.

This would be useful for exporting midi data to other apps and have the tracks the same.
Since I use music studio so far as an input for garage band to add midi.

This is technically not possible because Music Studio is an IAA (Inter-App Audio) host which means that its main use it recording and routing (hosting) other IAA apps. Afaik, IAA hosts cannot be IAA instruments at the same time.
