Key change

I am very new to this so pardon the newb question.

Have been downloading different Midi players and find Music Studio to be most excellent. One thing I tried to do and need to be able to do is change keys of a midi file. In the free/Evaluation version, changing key did not change it in the play back of a midi file. Is this feature disabled in the Free/Evaluate version? it did not say this in the details.

Is changing the key possible? My wife is trying to learn some Xmas songs and needs to be able to change keys of a midi file playback. tx for any help.

It's the same in the Lite and the full version:
The Transpose setting in the Keyboard Setup screen only changes the keyboard's transposition. To transpose the whole song, or part of a song, use the bar editor:

• Select everything (or a part of the song)
• Tap the transpose button: http://www.xewton.com/musicstudio/doc/?id=7#Transpose_button
