Play in Sampletank , record in Music Studio

Will Music Studio hear and record what I play in Sampletank and if so will Music Studio record audio or midi......to be clear, this would be in IOS. I can record within Sampletank but it's awkward to transfer/convert file format after the fact.

Music Studio supports all kinds of incoming signals (CoreMIDI, VirtualMIDI, Audiobus, Inter-App Audio), but SampleTank sends none of them, unfortunately.

SampleTank can only receive MIDI, so if you configure Music Studio for MIDI output, you can have the Music Studio tracks be played with SampleTank's sounds.

But since music studio hears audio as well as midi will it record the audio I'm producing with Sampletank when I have both apps open?

If you create a new audio track and set the source to interapp, then select sample tank you will be able to record STs audio

Or you could use Audiobus with ST in input and Music Studio in the output

SampleTank supports Inter-App audio and Audiobus? Great, I wasn't aware of that!
