Beginner acoustic treatment

Postby congay » Mon Sep 05, 2016 7:56 am

I will be recording music in my carpeted bedroom which is about 15ft x 10ft. What is the best way for me to get the best sound out of my room while keeping the cost relatively low? Would it be a good idea to have an isolation shield around my microphone with a bass trap on the wall behind me? I am very new to the concept of acoustic treatment and very confused. Thanks

Hello, i'm Gustavo Woltmann, what we are using to cover the room for soundproofing is egg cartons. I think it works. :) although it's still your choice :)
