Cant-Save-Project

Hi. I purchased Music Studio (full version, not the lite) a few days ago in the app store and am now running it on my 9.7 inch pro running iOS 10.1.1.

It's working great, and great fun, BUT, it will not allow me to save the current projects/song. I go to the top directory in the Projects table and press "<-- Save" (which is not grayed out). Then, in the "Save song" dialog box, "ok" is grayed out and any name I type in is not accepted. So I cannot save the project/song.

If relevant, I also have AudioBus installed (but not running). I have swiped all apps off and tried a hard reboot. No luck. Problem stubbornly remains.

Could I have help for Christmas?

Welcome to the forum and thanks for reporting this issue!
I just tested it on an iPad Pro and discovered that the OK button is still greyed out while you type into the save popup's text field. But there are 2 workarounds:

• Tap the Done Button on the keyboard or
• Tap the hide keyboard button (the lower right one on the keyboard), then the popup's OK button becomes active.

Same problem.
Thanks for the workaround.
I had several projects pending and I wanted to use MS as my portable capture.
I hope the developer will fix this problem in the next update?

Sorry to say: on my iPad Pro 9.7" I can't find a DONE button or a HIDE KEYBOARD button.
Please advise where to find it.

Don't have a 9.7" pro, but on my iPad the done button is a big blue button to the right of the l where the return button normally is and the hide keyboard button is the bottom right button.

Just to be clear these are buttons/keys on the iOS pop up keyboard, not the piano keyboard in the app itself....

We fixed this bug in Music Studio 2.8 which will be released in late January or early February.
