Midi Settings for Roland TD20

Postby DrumAnderl » Sun Nov 05, 2017 8:24 pm

i want to record midi drums. I have the Roland TD20 Soundmodul and Line 6 Midi Mobilizer II. When i play the hihat hard, music studio plays the snare. How can i set the signals to the right sound?

In Music Studio, some kits have the GM (General MIDI) mapping, some don't, and of course you can create custom kits. Music Studio's pad screen automatically shows the available keys (that have samples assigned to them) and lets you rearrange them. On a hardware drum controller, you'll have to assign the MIDI keys manually.

I don't know much about the TD20, is it possible to assign a different MIDI key to the hihat, maybe even for different velocity layers? Music Studio has hihat sounds on F#2, G#2 and A#2, maybe that's an octave higher than the TD20's default mapping?
