I mixed down into mono and used Phil Spector/Brian Wilson's technique of doubling multiple instruments playing the same part.

This is actually quite interesting. Truthfully, anyone who mentions Phil Spector either knows their music or *ahem* took a... .... history of rock-n-roll course in college.... Nevertheless! The song is, while simple, not out of place for a late 50s rock-n-roll song. Bravo. I would recommend rebalancing the vocal track and dial down the reverb on the wall of sound. A lot of the post-production rebalancing would have be accomplished with another program outside of MusicStudio, but it is quite possible.
